Zig Zag
I don't like this building very much, but it is a striking feature of the cityscape near my apartment. I thought that it looked neat in the darkness and rain, so I snapped this photo. I had to brace my camera against a sign post to ensure clarity. (This was before my exposure experiment below.)
The only thing that really annoys me in this composition is the horrid black triangle in the top left of the frame. It's the edge of the building across the street and I couldn't crop the photo and still get all of the features I wanted to show of the zig-zaggy building.
(I think the zig-zaggy building is the new Hearst building, but I could have just made that up.)
